Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment to preventing modern slavery in our business and supply chains.
Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement · 2026
Smartek is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and this statement sets out the steps we take to ensure they do not take place in our business or supply chains. [Where publication is required under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, this statement should be approved by the board and signed by a director.]
Our business
Smartek provides insurance and reinsurance software to insurers, reinsurers, MGAs and brokers. We are based at 42 Clarendon Road, Watford, WD17 1JJ.
Our supply chains
Our supply chains are relatively limited and consist mainly of technology, cloud infrastructure and professional service providers. We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations to be low, but we remain vigilant.
Our policies
We expect everyone who works for us, and the suppliers we work with, to share our commitment to ethical conduct. This is reflected in how we recruit, how we treat our people, and how we select partners.
Due diligence
We seek to work with suppliers who uphold the same standards and are prepared to confirm their own compliance with applicable anti-slavery laws. We keep our practices under review and will strengthen them as we grow.
Training and awareness
We raise awareness of modern slavery risks among our team so that concerns can be recognised and reported.
Approval
This statement is made on behalf of Smartek and will be reviewed and updated annually. [To be approved and signed by a director.]
